As Clark Street Real Estate finalizes plans with Aldi, Ryan continues to have conversations with several key community stakeholders regarding the mixed use retail and senior living components. They are also working with Six Corners Association’s Design Committee to gain input to public spaces, amenities, bike and pedestrian safety, public art and place-making. In addition, Ryan met with the Northwest Portage Walking Museum and the Chicago Public Art Group to consider opportunities for collaboration. Ryan and Clark Street have filed their Planned Development amendment application with the city and expect to be on the January 24th meeting of the Plan Commission.
Jan 23 Update: Ryan Companies and Clark Street will not be in front of the Plan Commission on January 24th and we have asked to continue our Plan Commission hearing to a later date. We are working diligently with Alderman Arena, the city departments, and the Six Corners Design Committee to take recommendations and evaluate those ideas for our future plan.
